We act as an independent coach supporting and providing
practical feedback. Clients generally seek a coach for
an employee for one of two reasons:
They wish to fine
tune the skills and behaviours of a high performing
employee who has been earmarked for progression.
They wish to give a non-performing
employee the chance to turn things around.
The benefits of AME coaching include:
Personal barriers to success
are identified and minimised / eradicated.
Individual is helped to set and then reach
specific, challenging goals.
Individual is given support on changing self-defeating
attitudes or behaviours.
Not disruptive to the individual's diary - may
be held on or off site.
Discreet and confidential.
Individual is given direct honest feedback in
a non-threatening situation.
Opportunity to practice newly learned skills
within a safe environment.
What is involved - the coaching
process
Assuming you had decided to go ahead with an AME coaching
programme for one of your employees, the process would
be as follows:
A meeting would
be held with you and/or the coachee's line
manager to discuss what kind of results you
are looking for.
The first session with the
coachee would be devoted to goal setting and
discussing what results they are looking for.
There would then be a following
5 sessions, lasting 2 - 3 hours in duration,
where we would drive towards the goals that
were set in the first session. We recommend
that sessions are taken about a month apart
as this allows for the necessary practise of
new skills and behaviours.
Following the last session,
an in-depth coaching evaluation is completed
by the coachee, which is then copied to the
relevant managers in your organisation.
